The Lie In Leftist Feminism

This is election day, and it's too early in the day to know who is the new boss (same as the old boss), so I thought I'd ignore the vote count for a while. A story was just brought to my attention that will be, but ought not be ignored. This sort of thing happens very often in the uncivilized parts of the world, and even occasionally in what we like to call civilization.

It happens because it's not roundly condemned by all civilization. It happens because the people who claim to be against this kind of savagery sit back 'pon their agendae and say and do nothing.

A story in today's British Daily Mail Online tells us of yet another young girl, this time in Savage Somalia, stoned to death for the crime of having been raped by three men. The thirteen-year-old girl was said to have been crying and begging for her life before being buried to her shoulders in the ground in the middle of a football field and stoned to death before a crowd of 1000.

Amnesty Int'l did some investigations to find that the (kangaroo) court found her guilty of adultery and sentencing her to death by stoning.

It's already well established that the islam religion seems to be every bit as savage today as was the christian religion several centuries ago.

The difference is, we supposedly know more now. We accept the notion that life is precious and we accept the notion of individual rights--in word if not always in deed.

Strange things are happening, though, on the left. The old reverence for tolerance of the views of others espoused by the left thirty-forty years ago seems to have gotten very selective in recent times. The left remains ever so tolerant of the approved and the evil, but no longer is tolerant at all of the responsible and unapproved dissent.

One can't say anything, for example, against any individual or group we'd consider anything like irresponsible, criminal, savage and evil without suffering anger, insult and ostracism (if not physical punishment) from the left. We see it in colleges and Universities in their hate speech rules. Also, in government codes--in spite of the First Amendment to the Constitution!

Thus, I have to call the NO(L)W, and other leftist feminist groups, to task for not vocally and continuously condemning islamic sharia law, if for no other reason, for its violations of the rights of women and girls living and dying under the sway of the utterly untenable rules of sharia law. Members of these groups scream at the top of their very capable lungs if a woman gets paid $10 per hour to a man's $12, and sit silently as young girls are circumcised in these savage parts of the world. The same women whimper at the unfairness of the man enjoying the look of a beautiful woman, yet uncharacteristically say nothing when presented with the likes of this poor girl murdered in a most horrible way by subhumans in Somalia.

Leftist feminists say nothing about islamic men marrying western women, having children, then take the children to hideouts in islamic countries never to be seen by their mothers again. Leftist feminists remain silent about young women wooed by wealthy islamists, taken out of their countries and placed into enslavement in islamic countries.

I can condemn islam for this, because 'tis a rare "moderate muslim" who will condemn these disgusting activities, and I do. Islam is a religion of death. It will remain so until these alleged "moderates" condemn and destroy the savage sects and bring their practitioners to justice.

The silence of the leftist feminists, though tells us of a very high degree of moral corruption, in that their leftist agendae soundly trump any thoughts of justice and moral outrage. Feminists should know better. The conclusion that must be reached is that theirs is also a philosophy of death.

They've killed Freedom! Those bastards!

This Time, It's the Christians

Each year, at many of the government children's prisons, there are occasional special programs or times in which tradition is broken. Among them are Christmas programs, Easter egg hunts, Homecoming parades, the Prom and others.

Some are related to holidays and some mimic pagan seasonal rituals. Some are local in nature and some are related to sports and academic endeavors.

In my school, we had an annual operetta, conducted by the acting program and the school orchestra. We had Homecoming, related to the foopbaw team--we had a dance, a parade, and (of course) the foopbaw game. We had the Junior Prom. We had a Christmas program and the Senior Play. And, both the most bizarre and the most fun, we had the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance.

We all dressed as Li'l Abner characters in salute to, or parody of, Al Capp's comic strip that appeared daily in the Grand Forks Herald those many years ago. For you youngsters, Sadie Hawkins Day (according to Capp), was a day in which the women chased the men, and if a woman was able to catch one, he had to marry her. At GF Central, tradition was that the girls asked the boys to the dance, and everyone dressed in Capp's inimitable hillbilly style.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we got trouble. Right here in River City. Or, more accurately in this case, Reedsburg, Wisconsin. According to a story in MyWay:

Students at Pineview Elementary in Reedsburg had been dressing in costume all last week as part of an annual school tradition called Wacky Week. On Friday, students were encouraged to dress either as senior citizens or as members of the opposite sex.

No doubt there's a little PC involved in these choices. Wacky Week usually has some kind of theme, according to the story, and is chosen by the students. It sounds like a good diversion from the normal humdrum of children's prison life.

But, Wait! Jim Schneider, program director for the funny-mentalist Voice of Christian Youth America cries foul! "We believe it's the wrong message to send to elementary students," he says. "Our station is one that promotes traditional family values. It concerns us when a school district strikes at the heart and core of the Biblical values. To promote this to elementary-school students is a great error."

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the error in having a bit of fun with age and gender. It doesn't sound as if anyone is trying to push other characteristics of age and gender 'pon these kids.

It's not the ACLU this time, nor is it the raging subhumans of fascist islam. It's funny-mentalist Christians!

I have no intention to paint Christians with a broad brush, but there are loons in every movement. It makes me wonder how many islamists are peaceful followers of the "religion of peace, and how many are bloodthirsty, crazed followers of a bloodthirsty child molester.

No idols.

US Army Adopting Methodology of Islam

According to an AFP story on Google News, soldiers who do not toe the funny-mentalist line are being singled out for butt-chewings and other punishments. Jeremy Hall, a 23-year-old US army specialist, was ordered to sit somewhere else in the mess hall if he didn't want to pray.

Later, the story continues, Hall was confronted by a major for holding an authorized meeting of "atheists and freethinkers" on his base. The officer threatened to discipline him and block his re-enlistment.

"He said: 'You guys are being a problem and problems can be removed,'" Hall said. "He was yelling at us and stuff and at the very end he says, 'I really love you guys, I want you to see the light.'"

Former Air Force lawyer Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, is suing the major and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates for having breached Hall's Constitutional rights.

I was in the Navy back in the early 1960's. I clearly recall that, according to military law, one's religious beliefs, if any, were his own business and each soldier and sailor is free to conduct his spiritual affairs according to his own conscience. Or not.

It's the American way.

The irrational zealousness of the sergeant and the major in the story shows an almost islamic desire to force a particular brand of funny-mentalist doctrine 'pon all hands, under pain of separation from the unit, and punishment for those who don't comply.

Contrary to common thought, there are atheists in foxholes, and they make the best fighting men if they understand and agree with that for which they battle. For these sicko funny-mentalists to punish them for their divergent beliefs, or lack of belief, will damage the fighting unit far more than will leaving each soldier to live with his own thoughts.

A Possible Future History--and How to Avoid It!

I wasn't aware of Dan Simmons, but I am now. This short story of his is definitely worth a read. It ought to be required reading in every home. Islam is the religion of peace, but the word "peace" in islam means "submission."

If At First You Can't Fool 'Em, Make The Lie Bigger

The algorians have not yet left the building. According to a Breitbart story, Algore is now claiming that, in the face of one of the coldest winters in the past twenty or so years, global warming is "significantly worse and unfolding more rapidly than those on the pessimistic side of the IPCC projections had warned us...."

Of course there is climate change. It's part of the nature of the planet and the solar system. We get periods of relative warmth and periods of relative cold, along with all the weather phenomena that are involved. These changes have to do with the relationships between Earth, the Sun and the other planets. These relationships, far too complex for a dopey politician like Algore to understand--or any of us, for that matter--cause a continually changing climate pattern that can't be altered significantly by anything mankind can do (short of destroying the planet by means of global nuclear war), and wouldn't matter much if it did.

The algorians are after political power; they're perpetrating this hoax for no other reason.

A far more healthy perspective on the state of the Earth is presented by Michael Crichton, author of many science-smart novels, including Andromeda Strain and Next. One of the best novels I've read in the past three or four years, is State of Fear, by Crichton. The novel, chuck full of references to real scientific, peer reviewed studies, tells a tale that illustrates the falsity of algorian claims quite thoroughly--one of the characters in the book could even be Algore.

Environmentalism As Religion is a speech given by Crichton, apparently derived to expound 'pon the issues raised in Fear.

While I disagree that government should create a "super EPA" to replace the current very political, very corrupt EPA, I agree with the facts Crichton uses to come to that conclusion. I'd see it as sufficient to trust land owners to find incentive in the ownership of their property, to keep it "clean." For those few who would ignore the long-term self interest of a clean property in favor of short term profit, I'd think tort lawsuits, brought by injured neighbors, to take care of these individuals by force of court decisions.

Algore, your time is up. While any number of deluded followers mouth your gospel, your group of true believers has assaulted the truth far too long, and the seams of your religion are splitting, along with those of your shirts. You know you're lying and the world's power-mad leaders know you're lying. The masses of overburdened taxpayers are beginning to realize it.

Not all men are "rational animals."

Some US Muslims No Less Savage

Aurora, over at The Midnight Sun, reminded me that I have to consider the notion that few, if any of the members of "the religion of peace" in the various United States are of the radical, crazed sort. While on one hand, there have been relatively few destructive incidents within our borders, we have to recall that in almost no case, have American Muslims emphatically condemned the actions and philosophy of the evil savages of ham-ass, al quaida or any of the other crazed islamic murderers around the globe.

While I'd never consider this attitude a racial one (Muslims are of various races), it's worth mention that birds of a feather do things together.

I was further reminded of the very recent murders of two teenaged girls by their islamic father. The story can be read at Debbie Schlussel's site. She's followed it up here. A further story can be found at the Free Republic site. Stories can also be found in local Dallas & Houston area newspapers. I first heard about it on Fox News. On cursory search, I find no stories in other national media sources--bringing me back to Aurora's entry, "Mainstream Media Colors the Facts."

It's demonstrably true that the msm soft-pedals, and even spikes stories involving Muslims, Blacks and Hispanics. White males are always fair game.

But, I digress. A taxi driver, whose name is Yaser Abdul Said, allegedly fatally shot his two daughters, Sarah and Amina, because they were dating infidels--that is, in sane people talk, high school classmates.

Note: Today, ABC News says " No word yet on a motive." They're right on top of it, as usual.

The solution to all this is that the law, and the media, must hold Muslims (and other groups) to exactly the same standards as anyone else. Rigorously. Although, I'll say that US law is better at that than, say, that of Great Britain.

I no longer hold any illusions about the innocence of many of the mosque denizens of the various American cities and States.

Trust, but verify.

The Savage Islam Religion Kills Again

According to a Breitbart story, found on Drudge, another religion-crazed muslim murdered his own daughter for having committed the sin of not wearing a scarf!

Michelle Malkin also has a comment here.

Perhaps I ought to apologize to the many thousands of peaceful, law-abiding, hard working Muslims residing in the various United States, and I do. But, how can a rational being even consider any benevolent thought toward a belief system that demands these kinds of inhuman acts of its adherents?

His name is Muhammad Parvez. He lives in a Toronto, Ontario suburb. Well, he's in custody now, and I hope he stays there for the rest of his miserable life. This beautiful young girl of only sixteen years is now dead because she merely wanted to dress nicely, like her classmates.

I'm afraid, though, that Canada suffers from the same kind of multicultural moral relativism as do many of the Western countries, including leftist US judges. I'm afraid this monster might be given a minimal sentence and be free to live the full life he denied his daughter.

May the rest of his life be short and miserable.

Blame Canada!

I don't know. I don't find anything wrong with this.....well, there is one thing, which I'll mention later. According to this story from BBC, and this story from Telegraph.co.uk, the small town of Herouxville, about 100 miles northeast of Montreal, has adopted a resolution detailing certain kinds of behavior that immigrants to the town shall not be allowed to do. The resolution reads: "We consider it completely outside norms to... kill women by stoning them in public, burning them alive, burning them with acid, circumcising them etc."

The resolution adds: "....That women are allowed to drive, vote, dance and own their own homes."

It further states, "The rules ban Sikh children from carrying ceremonial daggers to school...."

Here's where the City of Herouxville and I part company. Canadians, like most other British Commonwealth states, are not very smart with regard to the notion of self defense. Presumably, because in the end, the British Crown regards all of its subjects to be its chattel. It can't allow the serfs the right of self defense, since the serfs might someday realize that their worst enemy is, indeed, the Crown.

So, in the event of a robbery or an attempt at murder or rape, the Crown wants its serfs to simply lie down and die.

I don't accept that and, at least in a ceremonial way, neither do the Sikhs. I'll allow them their daggers, whether ceremonial imitations or real, sharp, steel daggers. I'll allow them sidearms, swords, blackjacks, nunchuks or brass knuckles--so long as they use them only to defend themselves and not to initiate force.

As to the former, islamists are notorious in their hatred for women. I have no idea how they manage to multiply--how women in islamic societies put up with their savagery.

I think it would serve all of Western Civilization well to require civilized behavior of all their immigrants.

A Pig in a Burqa

This morning, on her radio show, Laura Ingraham mentioned that, in China, officials have forbidden advertising depicting pigs. Seems that muslims, tender beings that they are, are offended by the beasts. They regard them to be unclean animals.

True, pigs dig in the ground for food, but so do ground sloths, and so do dogs, 'pon occasion. So do potato farmers. To the more rational among us, it's been discovered a long time ago that if something's dirty, you wash it. muslims, still living in the Seventh Century in their minds, apparently haven't yet discovered this technique.

Nonetheless, being creatures of most tender sensibilities, muslims must not be offended. An offended muslim has been known to suddenly explode, often in a bus or an inhabited building.

We don't want to offend muslims.

Trying to create a parallel the sentiment and relate it to herself and other christians, Ms Ingraham, a very devout christian with easily observed severe sexual hangups (common to the breed) asked rhetorically, why don't we, in America, refrain from using images of scantily-clad women in advertising?

Laura, do christians regard beautiful women to be unclean animals?

Well, as Steve McQueen said while portraying the character, Nevada Smith, in the movie by the same name, upon seeing a crucifix for the first time in his character's life, "That looks worse'n hanging."

Perhaps it's religion that's the filthy animal.

Those Awful Cartoons (Again)!

There have been calls for a boycott against Borders Books for their cowardly handling of a recent issue of Free Inquiry in which were printed those now-famous Danish cartoon depictions of Mohammad. Borders apparently cites concerns for the safety of their clientele and employees as the reason for its having refused to place the issue on its magazine rack.

Liberty loving individuals all over the country decried the bookstore chain's pitiful handling of the situation. Many individuals have decided to avoid Borders, and have called on others to do the same. An occasional customer of borders myself, I have decided to join this effort.

Now there's an interesting addendum to the story: the June issue of Harpers also has the Danish cartoons in its pages. Anybody care to give odds that Borders will refuse to carry this issue of Harpers? Anybody?

Robert Bidinotto, Editor-in-Chief of The New Individualist, the Objectivist Center's magazine, alerts us in his blog, to the current status of the story, and provides links to analysis by others.

Kudos to Mr Bidinotto for his stand on this issue!

It's Just a story!

I haven't seen "The Da Vinci Code," the movie, yet. I do plan to see it, but I'm not sure when. I had a bit of difficulty with it from the start: I'm not sure Ron Howard was the right director. He often has a difficult time making believable bad guys. Ditto Tom Hanks as the protagonist. He's always seemed too timid and too much the good guy. We'll see.

I read the book months ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was a better than decent action adventure that has a clever premise and is internally coherent. I remember thinking the denoument was a mite fuzzy, but I really ought to read it again. I always get a better handle on a book, reading it a second time, after the "wow" factor is past.

I wrote this about "The Da Vinci Code," a few weeks ago. It concerns the Roman Catholic reaction to the book. Watching some of Catholic pundits on the cable news shows makes one think there'll be picketing and boycotts. Catholic spokespeople seem to be trying to project the notion that they're under some sort of attack, and that The Da Vinci Code is part of it. Well, if that's true, perhaps it's time somebody kicked their asses a little bit for the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

For my part, I don't believe either The Da Vinci Code or Catholic Doctrine. If, however, I was asked to choose which story is the more believeable, I'd have to pick the former.

Waco II: The FBI Is Preparing to Strike Again

We hear in the MSM that the FBI recognized their errors in their Waco Massacre of April 17, 1993. I find that very difficult to believe. No one of the individuals who conducted the massacre has been criminally prosecuted, or even charged. None have even been disciplined, that has been made public. Janet Reno, the Bill Clinton's evil Attorney General, was the architect of the massacre, and is undoubtedly most guilty in the shameful episode. No one in government has ever suggested she be tried for her crimes.

Now, we have the potential for another outing for the Boys Who Can't Shoot Straight But Have A Lot Of Bullets. Warren Jeffs, a seemingly reprehensible character, has been placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list--for polygamy?? Well, many of the young girls are under age, and for that he needs to be brought to justice, but .....the FBI's Most Wanted? To be compared with Osama Bin Llama? Puh-leeze!

The FBI has called him....armed and dangerous, in spite of the fact that no one outside his cult has seen him in two years. He's rumored to be living in a compound in Eldorado, Texas. The leader of a bizarre religious cult. Armed and dangerous.

Ring a bell?

We don't know if he's really armed and dangerous, or not. Many of the feds' minions and pretenders regard anyone who owns a gun "armed and dangerous." The Second Amendment is one of the parts of the Bill of Rights that these individuals skip over on the rare occasions that they think of it at all.

The FBI has a record of lying to the public. Ditto BATFE, which was also involved with the Waco massacre. BATFE is a fascist-spawned, certifiably out-of-control gang of thugs. If they get called into this fiasco, beware!

David Koresh was living in a compound near Waco, Texas. He was the leader of a bizarre religious cult. He was rumored to be armed and dangerous. We all know what happened to him.

Do we have another religious cult massacre to look forward to? We'll see.

Starting Their Own Jihad

Fearing the fact of being outdone in the world's headlines by islamic funny-mentalists over the publication of 'toon images of Mohammed in the newspapers and web pages of the more civilized portion of the world, the vatican announces a boycott on the movie "The Da Vinci Code."

One has to wonder whether the continuing demonstrations over immigration will, like a tidal wave, overwhelm the vatican's pronouncement and leave theater-goers at peace to enjoy the film in suburban mega-plexes. I've noticed that our local cardinal, Msnr Mahoney, after singing the praises of the immigration reform demonstrations for lo! these many weeks, has suddenly begun to admonish government school inmates to stay in their classes and resist the temptation to escape and join the festivities. Might this have something to do with the upcoming actions regarding the premier of "The Da Vinci Code?"

Will there be bands of marauding catholic youths keying cars in Hollywood with their rosary crosses? Will scientologists be burned at the stake in Malibu? We non-catholics must be on our guard, for one never knows what evil lurks in the hearts of funny-mentalists!

Meanwhile, one has to also wonder how long it'll take for historical scholars to prove that the new testament was made up from whole cloth by monks in the 4th century, and how the vatican will react to that news!

Have Faith, and Hand Over Your Wallet

I just sent a letter to the opinion/editorial editor of the Orange County Register in response to a letter from a "Republican" California State Assemblyman who has submitted a bill to create a department which assigns state grants to charitable organizations, both religious and secular. Possibilities (certainties?) of corruption are endless. Need I even state that it's utter insanity that funds be confiscated from productive individuals to give to charitable organizations, even those of which they may not approve? In a rational society, this thief would be hanged.

March 26, 2006

Editor,

The thing that Assemblyman Leslie forgets when he proposes the establishment of an “Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives, (AB2704)” is that he’s proposing doing it with my money, and of course, that of every other Californian, rich or poor.

The first thing that’ll happen will be the staffing of the office with way too many high-salaried civil servants. This will come out of my pocket. Then, these civil servants will hand millions of Californians’ hard-earned dollars to “charities,” many of whom won’t be carefully checked, and many of whom will steal or waste these funds. News stories abound, telling tales of poor accounting practices and lost or stolen grant money.

If Mr. Leslie, indeed is a Republican, which seems like a stretch, he’d favor lowering the level of California’s state tax bite so that each Californian is able to keep and control more of his earnings. We can then, among other things, donate effectively to charitable organizations we check out and deem worthy ourselves.

So, Mr. Leslie, I ask you. How much confiscation of our earnings is enough? How long will California’s War on Productivity last? How many productive individuals must leave California before you guys’ll get the point? When everyone’s on the dole, who’s going to pay your bloated salary?

Thank you,

The Late, Great Planet Earth and Other Nonsense

I'm reading a work of my favorite alive-and-working philosopher, George H Smith. The name of the book is Atheism, Ayn Rand and Other Heresies. I'm reading a chapter comprised of a number of commentaries, written by Smith in the 1970's, on atheism.

One of the commentaries addresses protestant fundamentalism. It starts with a critique of Hal Lindsay's 1970 book, The Late, Great Planet Earth, Lindsay's prediction of the end of the Earth (coming soon). Smith explains that Lindsay predicts another world war, pitting America and allies against Russia, the Middle East and China. I haven't read Lindsay's book, nor will I (way too many good books to read), but the struggle between the Middle east and Israel has fully sucked in all of the recent presidential administrations.

According to Lindsay, this conflict will involve most of the nations of the world and at the height, Jesus will return amid huge fanfare. The fundy faithful will disappear into heaven (won't that actually improve life on earth? No fundies? That would be heaven!), and we'll start a thousand years of tribulations.

The connection made by Smith when he wrote this commentary was that, when fundies read this book, and if they take it seriously, many will undoubtedly act to help the scenario along.

Which brings me around to my point. The president is a fundie, as are many of the members of his administration. Suddenly, a whole additional set of possibilities comes into view! While I enthusiastically accept the need to put the military to work defending the country, but the nonsense in Iraq is an utter waste of time, lives and money.

Our military had Bin Laden cornered in Tora Bora, and the decision was made to back off.

They had another wack job (I don't know his name--our news people change the spelling and pronunciation of all Middle East names about every month or two--but he was a big shot) cornered in Fallujah a while back, but the order was given to back off. They let him go. The rag-headed dude went right back to blowing up stuff! Sounds to me like somebody wants to seriously prolong this thing--or even lose it!

Who knows? Maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But it does make you go hmmmmm!

Remember! VOTE FOR NO INCUMBENT!
